Erlangen immunologist is one of the 100 most influential people in the field of health worldwide
Great honour for Prof. Dr Georg Schett, Director of the Medical Clinic 3 – Rheumatology and Immunology at UNiklinikum Erlangen and Vice President of FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg: the internationally renowned immunologist has been included in Time Magazine’s list of the 100 most influential medical professionals in the world in 2024. Prof Schett is listed in the „Pioneers“ section for his extraordinary successes in the immune-based CAR-T treatment of autoimmune diseases such as lupus.
